The mild fog of the morning, streaks of sunrays emerging through the leaves enhanced by the thickness in air, gentle cold kissing the skin and an attempt to strike balance with it by exposing oneself to the equally gentle sun.
Winter mornings are here, a season I cherish and love, and yet makes it difficult to get away from the bed to feel the beauty of the world.
The thoughts, feelings and experiences I have had on my way to work today morning.
A friend waves me franitcally at workplace, completely ignored by me in my dreamy world until she shouts out my name loud. I think I will be a for-ever misfit in the array of cubicles that guard the modern economy.
It has been a while since I have shopped for books. I deliberately avoided purchases since there was a backlog of unread books to complete. The temptation to enter a bookshop and steal half of their goods was always there. Today's buy -
1. Grihabhanga - SL Bhyrappa, some of his old novels have remained unread. 2. Love in the time of Cholera. So far have read only one book of Garcia Marquez(One hundred years of solitude), and hopelessly impressed by the stuff he wrote. 3. Hitch-Hikers guide to the galaxy five novel edition. Believe me, I haven't been introduced to H2G2 yet. 4. Alice's adventure in wonderland. Had read it when I was a kid, and had found it totally boring. Can't recall anything about it now. 5. Sarvajnana Vachanagalu. Was actually looking for works of Akkamahadevi, did not find them and picked up this anyway.
I have been too sleepy lately - it has been a week since I haven't been waking up to the alarm. It goes totally unheard, and when I finally wake up, it will be an hour or two late.
I set the alarm and leave the mobile on the bed when going to sleep. These lazy days, it probably needs a little louder sound to wake me up, but the volume is set to high and there is nothing more that can be done about it. After some thinking, I hit up with an idea to work around it. Yesterday I took a steel plate and placed the mobile on it instead of leaving it on the bed. Next morning when the alarm started ringing, it's vibrating alert made a loud shrill noise colliding with the steel plate. And it worked just perfect and served the purpose!
Now I am getting wild ideas and considering placing the mobile on the guitar strings! Who knows.. I might end up with a would be chart-buster tune.. :D
