I spent last twelve days roaming around Himachal Pradesh. First few days were spent in and around the green and beautiful places near Shimla and then I headed towards Manali. Manali is a picturesque town located in the Beas valley. It is an incredibly pretty place, and ease of access to the town has resulted in tons of resorts donning the entire valley. We trekked around Manali for a day, and then hired a jeep to take us to the inner regions of Himachal, including Lahaul and Spiti, and Kinnaur region. Lahaul and Spiti were very beautiful, but Kinnaur pales in comparison.

Ofcourse, over time, the complete details of the trip will be published in India Travel Blog, though it is likely to take a few months before I actually start writing about it.
It has been a while I have done a long trip, and a little more than a year since I have been north the last time. It is time to travel again. I am heading to Himachal tomorrow. This will be the first time I will be travelling north of Delhi. I will be travelling via Shimla and Manali and then may be drive to Leh. The plans after Manali are not rigid, though we hope to bike to Leh, would make concrete plans only after we get to Manali. Ofcourse, once I get back, all the details of my trip are going to get logged on my India Travel Blog as usual.
