The Tata Foolishness

The Tata group has a policy, written or unwritten that is usually followed in all their companies - to source anything that they require from other Tata companies where such an option exists.

But the managers at the Taj took this a little too seriously, and went ahead and insured their properties with Tata AIG. The result - Tata Suns and other share holders of Tata Group will eventually pay from their pocket even when though the hotel is insured!
